Mr. Herbert came to Morning Breeze after more than two months in three different hospital; six of those weeks were were spent on a ventilator due to COVID-19.
David was weak, unable to stand or even sit up in a wheelchair for more than an hour. Over time David slowly regained his strength and was able to tolerate more and more activity.
After weeks of hard work David was able to stand for the first time in nearly four months. From then on he continued to improve and is now able to walk out of the facility and return home with his family just in time for Christmas.
