PATIENT TESTIMONIAL
“I enjoy the people here and I really wouldn’t be where I am today without them. It took determination and all you girls.”
-Pauline Schoettmer
Pauline
Pauline came to Morning Breeze unsure about what the future would hold. After 3 hospital stays, she was much weaker than before, confused, and required assistance to get out of bed and eat.
Once her medical status had improved and the therapy team had created an individualized plan for Pauline, she began making significant improvements in her strength, cognitive functioning, and overall independence.
She is now walking alone with a walker. Pauline also gained her fun, spunky personality back and kept the whole therapy team laughing along the way. Pauline agreed it was not always easy, but she says her theory is “No pain, no gain.”
With the help of the therapy staff, nursing, and her own hard work, Pauline is feeling more like herself again and enjoying some of the activities and social opportunities that she loves. Pauline enjoys being around others and is looking forward to playing cards and participating in more activities once she moves to her Assisted Living room.
