Our private short-term rehabilitation suites have recently been renovated to provide the maximum comfort for your stay. We specialize in rehabilitation services to improve the speed and scope of recovery following injury and do so in a private and dignified manner. Our goal is to help restore maximum abilities for individuals recovering from medical injuries with a patient-centered, cost-effective manner.

Ventilator Care
As part of the Allis Care Center Cardiopulmonary PATH program, the Ventilator Care Program allows area residents to receive care close to home. Our ventilator unit for high intensity pulmonary residents demonstrates our commitment to care for individuals with complex needs on both a short-term and long-term care basis.
The ventilator unit includes state-of-the-art equipment for individuals with respiratory failure resulting from injury, neurological disorders or pulmonary disease.
Weaning From Ventilator Care
Our main focus is on reducing dependence on a ventilator for breathing when possible so that the individual may return home. Our state-of-the-art ventilators are small, lightweight and easily transportable so that those who are able to can participate in daily activities for socialization and therapy.
Long-Term Ventilator Care
The team designs personalized care plans for individuals with ongoing ventilator dependency as part of their everyday life.

Rehabilitation
Our rehab team composed of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy works directly with residents to achieve rehab goals to get you back on track. Rehabilitation can assist residents in regaining their highest level of functioning. Treatments are offered throughout the week at our well-equipped facility by licensed professional therapists.
Our short-term rehabilitation suites are equipped with flat-screen TVs, telephones, daily newspaper services, state-of-the-art therapy equipment, and the services of our physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
Our team develops comprehensive, individualized care plans to maximize residents’ physical, social, and emotional independence, safely and quickly.
Our goal for residents is simple: to help individuals to live dignified and optimally independent lives. We tailor each individual’s therapy plan to his or her unique needs.
Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapists work with residents in training for increased mobility, gait stability, posture and positioning. Exercise programs are implemented to increase muscle function, coordination and endurance. Individualized treatment may also include joint and soft tissue mobilization to increase range of motion, wound care, and pain management. Fall Prevention and education are also provided.
Speech Therapy
Our Speech-Language Pathologists address communication and swallowing dysfunction. Treatment plans can include recovery of speech, language, and memory skills. Activities for memory, orientation, and cognitive abilities can be implemented. Oral muscle strength and functioning required for speaking and swallowing as well as appropriate/safe diet recommendations can be designed for individual needs.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists work with residents in education and training in such areas as dressing, bathing, eating, grooming, and other activities of daily living. Adaptive techniques or equipment to overcome physical barriers can be recommended. Strength and coordination exercises are implemented to increase more independence in daily activities.
